حدثت ثورة اعلامية فى 7 يوليو 2005 لم ينتبه إليها الكثيرون حينها ، و هو اليوم الذى قام فيه إرهابي بتفجير أصاب مترو أنفاق لندن

[٢٩/‏٦ ٥:٣٧ م] 🍊: The process of moral reasoning requires knowledge and skills in three areas :
[٢٩/‏٦ ٧:٠٨ م] 🍊: و تتطلب عملية التفكير الأهلاقي توافر معرفة و مهارات فى ثلاثة مجالات و هي :
The moral context : the moral agent must understand the context within which the dilemma has arisen .

This understanding includes some comprehension of the issue , the facts of the situation , the values and principles inherent in the case , and the social and cultural environment within which the media operate .


السياق الأخلاقي : يجب أن يفهم الحاكم الأخلاقي السياق الذي نشأ فى هذه المعضلة و يتضمن الفهم بشكل عام للقضية و القيم و المبادئ المتأصلة بها و البيئة الاجتماعية و الثقافية التى تعمل بها وسائل الاعلام حينها .

و يجب تطبيق النظريتين الأخلاقيتين على المشكلة  ( نظرية الفضيلة )

Focus on what we should do

3 - critical thinking : is essential to moral reasoning .

Success in critical thinking requires some knowledge of the subject , participate in analyzing and reasoning and the willingness to make decisions

التفكير النقدي : هو أميتطلب المعرفة أمر ضروري  يتطلب المعرفة بجوانب الموضوع و الممارسة فى التحليل و التفكير و الاستعداد لاتخاذ القرارات .

Media / Ethical / Duty

Media practitioners must take into  account the interests of six stakeholders ( parties to whom they owe an ethical duty before rendering an ethical judgement  ) .

على المشتغلين بالاعلام أن يأخذوا فى الاعتبار ستة عناصر تعتبر الأساسيات التى يجب أن تعرف قبل إصدار أحكام أخلاقية و هي :

 - The individual conscience الضمير الانساني
2 -The objects of moral judgement
تكوينات الحكم الأخلاقي

3 - Financial supporters
الداعمين بالمال

4 - Their institution وظيفتهم أو المؤسسات التابعون لها

5 - Their professional colleagues
زملائهم المتميزون
6 - The society at large
المجتمع المحيط بشكل عام

Ethics and moral development
1 - Ethics is a branch of philosophy that deals with questions of moral behaviour  .

The study of ethics

2 - The goal
[٣٠/‏٦ ٥:٢٦ ص] 🍊: النسبة الثقافية
Cultural relativism
هذا الموضوع يخبرنا أن هناك قيم ثقافية عالنية ( مثل تحريم القتل و احترام الكبار و رعاية الصغار .... إلخ )
و فى الوقت ذاته هناك قيم ثقافية نسبية ( أى تختلف من مجتمع إلى آخر ) .

- و حينما نريظ تقييم ثقافة مجتمع ما لابد أن نقيمه بناء على قيمة الثقافة الداخلية أو الخاصة به .

ـ و إذا أخذنا بمبدأ النسبية الثقافية فمعنى ذلك أن كل الثقافات ( متساوية) بما يعنى أنه لا توجد ثقافة أفضل أو أقل متةثقافة أخرى .

ـ النسبية الثقافية لها مزايا منها : تشجيع التسامح بين الثقافات

و لها أيضا عيوب : و منها عدم الاعتراض على الممارسات الخاطئة فى المجتمعات الأخرىة( بحجة أنها ثقافتنا و نحن أحرار مثلا ، أو هى على شئوننا الداخلية  ) مثلما يفعل الصهاينة فى فلسطين .

ـ رغم ذلك ، يمكن تخطي نقاط ضعف النسبية الثقافية، بالاعتراض عبر الأمم المتحدة و الضغط عبر وسائل الإعلام ، و مقاطعة الشركات التى تتبنى ممارسات مخالفة لثقافتنا و نبدأ الأن مع الشرح .

العديد من الناس يؤمنون بوجود مبادئ أخلاقية أو حقائق عالمية

مثل أن يتم حماية الأطفال و الاعتناء بهم

منع إيذاء الأخرين او ممتلكاتهم
[٣٠/‏٦ ٦:٤٧ ص] 🍊: Marriage and family are considered sacrosanct ( although what defines a marriage and family may differ from a society to a society
[٣٠/‏٦ ٦:٤٩ ص] 🍊: الزواج و الأشرة مقدسان ، على ابرغنومن أن تعريف الزواج و الأسرة ربما يختلف من مجتمع إلى آخر

[٣٠/‏٦ ٦:٥٤ ص] 🍊: الثقافات المختلفة لها قيم أخلاقية مختلفة

What is thought to be right and completely acceptable in one culture may be considered
[١/‏٧ ٥:٥٦ م] 🍊: ما يعتقد الناس أنه الصواب و يحظى بالقبول التام فى ثقافة ما ربما يعتبر خطأ و غير مقبول فى ثقافة أخرى
[١/‏٧ ٦:٠٢ م] 🍊: Callations ( Ancient European ethic group ) were paying respect to their dead fathers by eating their flesh
الكالتون ( و هم مجموعة عرقية أوروبية قديمة  ) كانوا يقدمون احترامهم لآبائهم الموتى بأكل لحومهم .

In Eskimo culture , men are polygamous , and they are paying respect to guests by introducing one of their wives

فى الاسكيمو يعدد الرجال زوجاتهم ،  و يقدمون احترامهم لضيوفهم بتقديم واحدة من زوجاتهم .
[١/‏٧ ٦:٠٨ م] 🍊: These two examples demonstrate three important points :

هذان المثالان يعرضان ٣ نقاط هامة :
* That idea of what is right and what is wrong differ from culture to culture
فكرة أن ما هو صواب أو خطأ يختلف من ثقافة إلى أخرى

* That it can be very hard to fully understand and appreciate the rationale or reasons behind actions or behaviour considered appropriate in cultures that are not our own
[١/‏٧ ٦:١١ م] 🍊: أنه ربما من الصعب أن نتفهم و نقدر الأسباب المنطقية التى تقف خلف أفعال أو سلوكيات تعتبر مقبولة فى ثقافة لا ننتمي إليها .

* That we need to be cautious about how we interpret or evaluate other cultures

يجب أن نتوخى الحذر حينما نفسر أو نقيم الثقافات الأخرى

* There is no natural standard or law that we can apply to help us decide which is the moral or ethical or right or correct thing to dobin any difficult situation .

لا يوجد معيار طبيعي أو قانون يمكن أن يساعدنا على تقرير ما هو أخلاقي أو حق أو مناسب لكي نقوم به فى المواقف المختلفة .

* We would need to look at the internal standards of the particular society or culture and apply them to any moral difficulty rather than imposing any external or universal moral code
نحتاج إلى أن نلقي نظرة على المعايير الداخلية لمجتمع أو ثقافة معينة و نطبقها على أى اختلاف ثقافي بدلا من فرض أى معيار أخلاقي خارجي أو عالمي
[١/‏٧ ٦:٢٢ م] 🍊: * If we adopt a culturally relative stance , we are also required to accept that all cultures then have ( equal ) status
[١/‏٧ ٦:٢٤ م] 🍊: إذا كان لنا أن نتبنى موقف ثقافي نسبي ، فنحن مطالبون بأن نتقبل أن كل الثقافات متساوية
[١/‏٧ ٦:٢٦ م] 🍊: * No culture can be seen as superior or inferior and similarly , our own culture is just one of mnny and no better or worth than the rest
[١/‏٧ ٦:٣١ م] 🍊: لا يمكن رؤية ثقافة على أنها أفضل أو أقل من الأخرى ،  و على نحو متساوي ثقافتنا هى واحدة من العديد من الثقافات ، و لا توجد ثقافة أفضل أو أسوأ من الثقافات الأخرى .

* For many Westerners , Europeans in particular , women  have equal status with men and therefore to treat them
[١/‏٧ ٧:١٢ م] 🍊: as in any way inferior would be a violation of their moral code of equality
[١/‏٧ ٧:١٤ م] 🍊: بالنسبة للعديد من الغربيين و الأوروبيين على وجه الخصوص ، النساء فى وضع متساوي مع الرجال ، و بالتالي فإن أي تهديد لهن بأى وسيلة سوف يعد انتهاكا لقيم المساواة
[١/‏٧ ٧:١٥ م] 🍊: * The old saying , "When in Rome , do as the romans do"
[١/‏٧ ٨:٤٣ م] 🍊: Understanding the application of media ethics
[١/‏٧ ٨:٤٤ م] 🍊: فهم تطبيق أخلاقيات الأعلام
[١/‏٧ ٨:٤٦ م] 🍊: Individuals think, feel and believe differently and much of the time , we all accept another's right to do so
[١/‏٧ ٨:٤٨ م] 🍊: يختلف الأفراد كثيرا فى طريقة تفكيرهم و شعورهم و اعتقاداتهم و كلنا يقبل خق الآخر فى فعل ذلك
[١/‏٧ ٩:٠٥ م] 🍊: But sometimes , some issues such as the case above become featured in the media and arouse all sports of passions , feelings , arguments and viewpoints .

How often do we logically go about deciding which are valid and which are invalid viewpoints ?
Which are good arguments and which are bad arguments ?
[١/‏٧ ٩:٠٧ م] 🍊: و لكن أحيانا تتباور ملامح بعض الموضوعات ـ مثل القضية النذمورة سابقاً و تثير كل أنواع المشاعر و العواطف و الحجج و وجهات النظر
[١/‏٧ ٩:١٠ م] 🍊: إذن كيف نتمكن من الحكم بصورة منطقية لما هو صالح و ما هو غير صالح و ما هى الحجج الصحيحة
[١/‏٧ ٩:١٤ م] 🍊: و الحجج الخاطئة
[١/‏٧ ٩:٢١ م] 🍊: Where are ethics found / required within the media ?
أين هى الأخلاقيات الموجودة و المطلوبة فى الأعلام  ؟
[١/‏٧ ٩:٢٩ م] 🍊: A sense of ethical principles govering which is or is not acceptable to the society / community one servesis required within all modern media . e.g * ln Journalism * In Television * In Radio * In Public Relations * On the internet
[١/‏٧ ٩:٣٢ م] 🍊: إن استشعار القواعد الأخلاقية التى تحكم ما هو مقبول و ما هو غير مقبول  ـ فى المجتمع الذى يعيش فيه الإنسان ـ هو مطلب للإعلام الحديث مثل الصحافة و التليفزيون و الراديو و الإعلانات و العلاقات العامة العامة و الإنترنت .
[١/‏٧ ٩:٤٥ م] 🍊: These ethical principles , sometimes called a "Code of practise" are designed to ensure that :
و قد صممت هذه القواعد و أحيانا تسمى قواعد الممارسة لتأكيد أن  :
Correct are facts  القواعد صحيحة
[١/‏٧ ٩:٥٨ م] 🍊: e.g if rumours  are circulating  about a celebrity taking drugs , then the media cannot   and should not report it until there is factual evidence
